Smartish Pace is experiencing significant financial hardship. For thirteen years we've been funded by subscriptions and donations, the largest each year coming from our own volunteer editors. We need your help to continue the publication of Smartish Pace. We can do this!
As an independent nonprofit magazine, not affiliated with or supported by any institution or grant, Smartish Pace needs the support of individual readers like you. We use donations to promote contemporary poetry through our website, host free public poetry readings and publish our magazine. None of our staff members receive compensation for their work—we are volunteers.
Any donation—large or small—will help. Your contribution may be made by check or money order. If you give $30 or more your name will be listed in an upcoming issue and at our website, and you will receive a complimentary subscription. Of course, if you wish, your gift will be kept anonymous.
